Custom Turbo System

The Turbo and other components
We used a custom built Turbo from Precision Turbos. Its a T4 which has been ported to our specs by the guys over at PT.
We chose to powder coat it candy red and also used a flat black ceramic powder coating on the exhaust side as well as the bottom of the waste gate.
We chose to run a HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve as well as a custom built intercooler made from 3.5 inch thick Garrett IC Core

Heres a quick preview of how the turbo sits behind the bumper. Some of the tubes fit nicely through the crash beam which will be notched for the duct work to the FMIC.
The waste gate sits well behind the turbo and is easily accessed using the "trap Door" that is built into the factory shrouding.

Here you can see how the turbo sits nicely in the factory fog light holes on my Firebird. This kit was designed specificaly for the 98+ Foirmulas but will work on any of the F-Bodies with little or no modifications.
This is just a quick sample of how this set up would look while in use at the track. It will have an HKS filter on it for street use as well as a nice thick screen mounted over it for added protection.
A Front mount intercooler will reside behind the crash bar and the front plate filler will be removed... Newer pics will be added shortly.
Custom Headers...
The headers were custom built with the idea that changing plugs on an f-body should be easy. With that in mind we fabbed this set up with plenty of room to access the plugs as well as the headers bolts. Both headers can easily be removed from the top of the car if needed
Custom Aluminum Drag Spoiler
This is an early shot of the custom spoiler we buit for our WS6. It was heavily inspired by the spoiler on Rob Golobos record breaking NPS Camaro. These will be available to the public in the future.
